What I Do

My mission is to invest in service and education in order to empower clients and their families. I do this by creating educational tools and providing necessary resources.

Each client has different needs and wishes. Some clients enlist hospice nurses and aides to come into their homes for the nursing portion of care. Other clients prefer to have family to care for them. I work alongside existing healthcare professionals.

As a Certified Nurse’s Aide, (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), and Personal Care Assistant (PCP), I provide care for activities of daily living, respite and on-call nursing services as well as bedside care, counseling, and various modalities of palliative care.

As an End-of-Life Doula (EOLD) I offer practical household support services through a family-centered approach, advanced care planning, respite care, funeral planning, and bereavement services.

As an Ordained Minister, Soul Midwife, Reiki Master, and Conscious Dying Guide, I offer energy healing, aromatherapy, Reiki, massage, and light, soothing touch. I feel called to access and practice each one’s preferred religious and/or spiritual methodology. I believe we all understand the faith instinct as humans, and all religions seek the same thing: connection and love. I honor and respect clients’ spiritual practice.

Sometimes the end stages bring agitation and discomfort for the client and their family. I stay non-judgmental and hold space for those times. I deliver tools and bridge gaps between the dying and their families, hold space, and am a grounding stability in uncertainty.
